Ternium
Ternium: 89 hectares of plants and roofs inspected in one day
In a single day we flew three Ternium plants in Nuevo León (Universidad, Pesquería and Guerrero) to map and inspect their roofs: 89 hectares in total.
- Where
- Nuevo León, Mexico
- When
- October 14, 2025
- Industry
- Industrial parks and buildings
- 89.4 ha
- inspected
- 3
- plants in a single day
- 55.9 ha
- largest plant (Guerrero)
The challenge
Checking roofs on huge industrial buildings, where walking on them is slow and risky, and where a pond or a damaged sheet ends up leaking onto production.
What we did
We flew all three plants on the same day and processed orthomosaics and height models for each one. In GeoVolumetrics, findings are marked per roof with their location, ready to send to maintenance.
The result
An up-to-date map of each plant and its roofs, with nobody climbing up, to plan maintenance with evidence.
