LALA: solar panel thermography and a 14-hectare survey
At LALA's plant in Aguascalientes we surveyed 14.35 ha and ran a thermal inspection of the rooftop solar panels: 979 thermal images and 18 hot spots located.

The challenge
A rooftop solar array produces less when cells or connections are damaged, and you can't see it with the naked eye. Checking panel by panel by hand isn't practical.
What we did
We flew the roofs with a DJI Zenmuse XT thermal camera and built a complete thermal mosaic. Each hot spot was marked on the map with its severity, so maintenance knows exactly which panel to check.
The result
18 hot spots located panel by panel: 3 critical, 12 high and 3 medium, plus a topographic survey of the whole plant.
